We Are A Certified Organic Distributor
Albert's Organics carries a full line of organic fresh fruits and vegetables. All of the produce that we sell is certified organic and in compliance with the National Organic Standards. In addition, all of the Albert's Organics facilities are certified by Quality Assurance International (QAI), a federally recognized independent third-party certification organization. We are very proud to make the claim of being the first certified distributor of organic produce in the United States. Albert's has been certified since 1996.

Our Produce Procurement Program
To ensure that we always have access to the best possible organic produce, Albert's has dedicated a procurement division, based in the heart of the Salinas Valley growing region, whose focus is entirely on buying and sourcing organic produce nationwide. Our buyers and inspectors have frequent daily communications with the growers, allowing us to keep on top of the ever changing market conditions. Our inspectors are welcome at the various farms to inspect and select product, and planning meetings with the farms to create long term planting schedules happen on a regular basis. These meetings ensure that as Albert's grows, the volume of product necessary to support our growth will follow. In addition to having complete access to all of the major organic farms, we have used the strength of our procurement resources to develop strong local and regional buying programs for each of our distribution areas.

Our Quality Control
Adding to the strength of our procurement program are our Quality Control (QC) teams located at each division. When the product arrives at the dock, the QC team begins the inspection process. They check to ensure that the product has traveled at the correct temperature; they will check the ripeness, test the sugar levels of the fruit, as well as the size, grade, and general appearance of the product. Once the product is ready to leave our facility, in route to its destination, the QC team will inspect the product once again. Product inspection is critical in maintaining our high level of quality.
